Drysiа: The Eclipse Warlord
In the heart of the shadowed groves of Arcanterra, Drysia stands as the chieftain of whispers and dusk. Clad in the might of the night and wielding twin obsidian axes, she commands the battlefield with the authority of darkness itself. Her presence is a foreboding omen, her power an echo of the void that swallows light.
Abilities at a Glance:
Umbral Fury: Drysia channels the obscure energies of darkness to enhance her strikes, each blow infused with the abyss's depth, rending through defenses with a force that is as inevitable as the night.
Shadow Surge: With agility granted by the penumbral mists, she orchestrates attacks with a precision that seems almost supernatural, her movements a symphony of synchronized devastation.
Eclipse's Embrace: She weaves the protective embrace of the eclipse around her tribe, fortifying their resolve and turning their will into an indomitable bulwark against all who dare oppose.
Dual Eclipse Cleave (Ultimate Ability): Unleashing the wrath of the concealed sun and moon, Drysia performs the Dual Eclipse Cleave, a maelstrom of steel that disrupts and disorients, as though night and day were clashing over her enemies.
Shadefall Assault: Leading her warriors in the Shadefall Assault, she embodies the tempest of the night, overwhelming adversaries with a synchronized barrage that leaves no room for retreat or mercy.
Matriarch of Shadows
To align with Drysia is to command the shadows, to become one with the subtleties of darkness that others fear to tread. She is not just a warrior; she is an eclipse in human form, a blend of light and shadow, strength and subtlety. In her wake, foes find only ruin, and allies find unwavering support.
Rise with Drysia, the Eclipse Warlord, and cast the might of shadows over the fields of Arcanterra.
Lore
Drysia: Arcanterra is a land filled with mythical beasts and monsters, magical races and mysterious creatures, but within the fold of entities that roam the earth lives a being that has embraced both dark and light, sun and moon. During the second Arcan War, many factions involved in the war effort split from their main forces to try and succeed in claiming power elsewhere. One of those factions was a guild that went by their more commonly-referred-to name, the Nightwalkers. This guild was responsible for carrying out nighttime attacks on different structures around the kingdom of Eryion. Their main goal was to cut off the supply of food and supplies to the kingdom. However, as the war raged on, they soon found it more beneficial to themselves to, instead of damaging bridges and paths, steal the food and supplies for themselves and sell them off at high prices to the kingdom. Eryion’s populace could not refuse, for if they did, they would starve, as the armies were out fighting their own battles. One night though, as the Nightwalkers were stealing a shipment of food, a surprise attack by Eryion’s garrison caught them off guard, and as the night went on, many of the guild’s members were killed in the attack. Finally, around midnight, the guild’s leader, a woman named Drysia, decided that the only way to survive was to tap into dark magic, and so she casted a spell upon herself that used the power of the moon to transform her into a mystical being of power. However, that night, there had been a lunar eclipse, and the spell took energy from both the moon and the sun, causing her powers to be divided between the two. Enhanced by immense strength, she was able to easily defeat the garrison, but was unable to transform back into her human form. The spell, because it intertwined the powers of both the sun and the moon, cursed Drysia with pseudo-immortality, a punishment for using dark magic she was not fully prepared to funnel into the natural world. Drysia was not fine-tuned in the art of dark magic, only an apprentice of the craft, and so her powers were strained enough that the spell’s curse took hold and did its own bidding. Now, known as the Eclipse Warlord by those who lived to tell the tale, she has rebuilt the Nightwalkers in a different light, leading them in battle against those she deems unworthy of her grace.
