Lumina: The Celestial Marksman
In the quiet before dawn and the hush of dusk, Lumina, the Luminous Archer, takes her stance. She is the embodiment of the sky's dual nature, where the sun's clarity meets the moon's mystery. With a bow that sings the song of the heavens, Lumina strikes with a grace that is as radiant as it is deadly.
Abilities at a Glance:
Solar Precision: Lumina’s aim is guided by the unwavering light of the sun, each arrow loosed with a brilliance that ensures unerring impact upon her chosen targets.
Lunar Evasion: As elusive as the shifting phases of the moon, Lumina dances across the battlefield with a poise that makes her presence as intangible as moonbeams, a specter of light in the dance of combat.
Aurora's Blessing: Her quiver is blessed by the aurora’s ethereal glow, granting her arrows the ability to rain down a volley of celestial light upon her adversaries, illuminating the battlefield with their resplendent glow.
Starfall Cascade (Ultimate Ability): When the stars align, Lumina calls upon the Starfall Cascade, a torrent of cosmic energy that streams down like a meteor shower, each arrow a falling star that pierces through the hearts of her enemies with the cold precision of the night sky.
Bearer of Day and Night
To choose Lumina is to wield the duality of day and night, to embrace the balance of the cosmos with every notch of an arrow. She is a guardian of balance, her presence a comforting constant like the celestial bodies that guide travelers and dreamers alike. Lore
Lumina: The second Arcan War, while perhaps not as destructive as the first, raged on for far longer and with far more secrecy than most scholars have noted. Kingdoms rose and fell throughout the hundred-year period that most consider to be the brunt of the war effort. But the ripples of the conflict sent waves into the shoreline of the future for many generations. In the kingdom of Myroc, the four noble families that ruled the lands had grown to a hatred and resentment of each other during the second Arcan War, and soon a mini civil war had broken out that shook the kingdom to its core. Unable to settle the dispute, the four families went to war with each other, and in the end, the Nolars claimed victory amongst the others. The most well-liked house out of the four, to avoid further bloodshed they called a council together and signed a treaty with the other houses to never rebel against one another again, but in their victory, also took hold as the newly established royal line, decreeing that while the other three houses would stay on as councilors, the Nolar family would from that day forth hold the ultimate power of the throne. Generations passed and all was well, but conflict eventually rose again, and as rumors of war in Arcanterra began to circulate once more, the newly appointed queen, Lumina, began to question whether her strength was enough to hold the kingdom together. Keen on magic from an early age, she began to call for scholars and mages from across the lands to visit her kingdom, where they would train her in all sorts of magic. But alas, she could not succeed in any, for the scholars said her love for the bow outweighed her desire to tap into magic. A master archer, she wished to combine the two skills, something the mages and scholars deemed impossible for someone not born with magical abilities. That was until one day out hunting, a wild boar attacked her party, and thrown off guard, the boar was able to take down three fully armored soldiers before setting its eyes on the queen herself. Taking an arrow out of her quiver, as the boar charged towards her with the might of a thousand horses, she called upon the sky to lend its strength, and so it did. The arrow lit up with an ethereal light, and the boar stood no chance. Equipped with her newfound skills, and dinner, she traveled back to Myroc, where she continued her training, honing in on her powers and becoming an incredibly powerful mage-archer.
