Embodiment of Power
Zephyrion is not merely a hero; he is a statement of strength for those who prefer to lead with action rather than words. His skill set is designed for those who thrive in the heart of battle, dictating its rhythm with unrelenting aggression. Playing Zephyrion is about controlling the chaos, harnessing the raw energy of the storm, and channeling it into a display of electric dominance on the battlefield.
Lore Zephyrion: A primordial being born from the very storms that ravaged the lands of Arcanterra during the Age of Formation, Zephyrion stands as the wielder of electric strength and power. Millenia before even the first mountain was formed, when the very earth was subservient to the seas, monsoons crashed into what lands were lucky enough to protrude outwards from the watery depths of the continuous ocean. Soon, lightning began to strike rock and ground, and through time, eroded it enough that the very electricity that came from the clouds above welled beneath the dirt. As water seeped in and made contact with the sparks, a catastrophic elixir formed, and gave birth to the mighty beast himself. From the shock, Zephyrion arose, towering over the lands and sea. One of the first beings to roam the planet, he was blessed with the ability to control the flow of electricity, and could shape the weather itself through manipulating the currents in the clouds. A sentinel for many ages, Zephyrion helped craft the landscape of Arcanterra, shaping mountains using mighty storms and manipulating the ocean’s height to allow for landmasses to stretch their peaks above the tide. As other races began to awaken and fill the continents, Zephyrion took his home in the underground caverns of Zyroth to recharge his abilities, and entered a millenia-long slumber. When he awoke, a war between Marlo and Drydion had been raging on for years, and he quickly found himself in the midst of battle. He decided, after watching the two sides fight for almost three years, that he needed to lend his support to end the war, and so he joined the kingdom of Marlo, aiding them in their quest to push back the forces of Drydion, who had advanced well into their territories. Utilizing his strength, Zephyrion summoned lightning from the sky to strike down Drydion forces, and after only a few mere days, the tide of war had shifted to Marlo’s favor. For his support, Zephyrion was given a rune-laiden belt that amplified his abilities even further, a magical artifact crafted by Marlo’s wizards. After the war, Zephyrion returned to Zyroth, and stood as a guard to the gates of his newfound kingdom, where he assisted the Marlon forces in many battles and skirmishes. Many folk from surrounding lands would visit him, and bring gifts of jewels and gold to the caverns in which he dwelt. Zephyrion has remained a true friend to the kingdom of Marlo and continues to serve as their protector against those who would wish to do them harm.
